CEBU CITY, PHILIPPINES (04/08/2022) - SKILLS students apply what they learned through a practical demo building activity at the PSEFI training center in Cebu.
The Terwilliger Center is working with PSEFI to develop and curate online training courses for unskilled and semi-skilled construction services providers in the informal housing sector. The curriculum is available through Learning Management System (LMS), a digital platform and library that delivers educational courses and learning and development programs to a variety of users. It is currently being implemented at SKILLS – a technical and vocational training institute.
Policy Solutions for Urban Informal Settlements
This session will focus on policy solutions implemented to improve settlement conditions in informal settlements. Throughout the developing world the pace of urbanization has outstripped governments’ capacity to facilitate adequate and affordable housing.
