Business Assembly
October 22, 2023 – Suwon, South Korea
Businesses play an important role in driving sustainable urbanization. More than selling products and services, many businesses are increasingly aligning their mission towards a positive impact on society and in the environment.
The Asia-Pacific Urban Forum Business Assembly seeks to communicate the commitments of the business community in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond in supporting measures to achieve the ambitions of the Sustainable Development Goals, and in particular Goal 11 – Make Cities Inclusive, Safe, Resilient and Sustainable.
Additional outcomes of the Assembly will be to forge deeper ties among members of the business community that are committed to sustainable urban development and sustainable housing, and to engage corporate leaders in meaningful exchanges with other APUF constituencies.
The Business Assembly is co-organized by Habitat for Humanity and the UN Global Compact, who are joining forces to deliver a truly impactful day-long gathering, which will set a positive tone for discussions at APUF. Attendees will include regional corporate leaders, ESG experts, public sector decision-makers, sustainable urbanization practitioners, entrepreneurs and more.
