Dr. Khosla’s work is aimed at unthinking and reimagining slum and inclusive urban development in building resilience and nudging community-led initiatives.
Through her work, she has been strengthening local capacities for participative planning, community data visualization and analytics using spatial technologies, localizing and de-engineering solutions, and simplifying institutions.
Her efforts seek to change policy narrative and deepen policy discourse around urban poor, slum integration and transforming lives.
She received the UN Habitat Dubai Municipality Award 2022 for URBGOV, a GIS-based decision-making platform. She was also recognized by the Government of India on International Women’s Day for her work in sanitation and gender equality.
