Date and Venue
The 4th Asia-Pacific Housing Forum will be held on 2-4 October 2013 at the Dusit Thani Manila, strategically located at the Central Business District of Makati City, Philippines. Dusit Thani Manila is a 30-minute drive from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and situated near the city’s commercial centers. Reliable access to Manila’s historic sites and other city attractions is also readily available.
Identification Document and Security
Participants are requested to bring an identification document with photo, such as driver’s license, passport, etc. for security check and validation of identity as a requirement prior to the issuance of the conference identification card. Security measures shall be strictly enforced; thus, only participants with Forum identification cards issued by the Secretariat will be allowed entry into the conference venue. Participants are also advised to carry photo identification documents at all times.
Participants who have pre-registered with the Secretariat shall receive an acknowledgment letter from the Conference Manager. Pre-registered participants are assured of a place in the Forum. Pre-registered participants may secure their conference identification cards and conference packets/bags at the Dusit Thani Manila, on October 1, 2013, from 9 am to 5 pm. Registration on the first day of the conference, October 2, 2013, Wednesday, will begin at 7am.
The opening session, plenary sessions, and the closing session of the 4th Asia-Pacific Housing Forum will be held at the Grand Ballroom of the Dusit Thani Manila. Breakout Sessions will be held at separate meeting rooms.
Snacks and coffee will be served next to the ballroom foyer during plenary sessions and in the designated meeting rooms for the breakout sessions. Lunches will be served at designated areas.
A networking dinner will be hosted by Habitat for Humanity for Forum participants on October 3, 2012 at the Grand Ballroom of Dusit Thani Manila. Dress code is business attire. All participants are invited to attend the reception.
Emergency medical services will be made available in the conference venue. Request for medical services may be done through the Secretariat located at Meeting Room 1, Mezzanine level. The hotel also has a clinic within its premises.
